Data deletion instructions

This page explains how to have Aflame AI delete the data we obtained when you connected a Facebook or Instagram account to our services through Facebook Login for Business or the Meta APIs.

Depending on what you authorized, that data may include your Facebook user ID and name, basic information about the Facebook Pages and Instagram business accounts you selected (such as account ID, name, and profile image), the access token issued by Meta for those accounts, and records of actions performed on your behalf, such as content published at your request.

Access tokens are kept only while the connection is active and are deleted once the connection ends. This page covers the remaining connection records as well.

Sections 01 to 04 below cover data obtained through Meta (Facebook and Instagram). If you connected a Google or YouTube account instead, see section 05. If you connected a TikTok account, see section 06.

To immediately stop Aflame AI from accessing your accounts, remove the app from your Facebook account: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → select Aflame AI → Remove.

You can also disconnect from within the Aflame AI admin console if you have an account with us.

Revoking access ends our ability to reach your Facebook Pages and Instagram business accounts right away. It does not, by itself, delete the records already stored on our side — use Step 2 for that.

Send an email to info@aflameai.com with the subject line “Meta data deletion request”.

Please include the name of the Facebook account used to authorize the connection, the Facebook Page or Instagram username that was connected, and an email address we can reply to. This lets us locate the right records and confirm the request comes from someone entitled to make it.

You do not need an active paid account with Aflame AI to make this request, and we do not charge for it.

We acknowledge deletion requests within 5 business days and complete verified requests within 30 days.

On completion we delete the stored access tokens, the connected account records (account IDs, names, and profile information received from Meta), and the operational logs tied to that connection.

Where we are required to keep limited records to meet a legal, tax, or accounting obligation, or to resolve a dispute, we retain only what that obligation requires and delete it once the obligation ends. Such records are not used to access your Meta accounts.

Content already published to your own Facebook or Instagram accounts stays on those accounts and is under your control. Delete it from the account itself, or ask us in the same email and we will remove the posts we published on your behalf where the platform still allows it.

We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.

If you connected a Google or YouTube account to Aflame AI, you can revoke that authorization at any time — either with the Disconnect button on the YouTube channel page inside Aflame AI, which revokes the authorization with Google and deletes the tokens we stored, or from your Google Account under Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services → select Aflame AI → Remove access.

Once you revoke or remove the connection, Aflame AI stops using the corresponding Google or YouTube authorization.

The OAuth tokens, connection credentials, and any data stored solely to maintain that connection are deleted, invalidated, or no longer used, in accordance with our applicable security and data retention practices.

Aflame AI requests exactly two YouTube permissions: youtube.readonly, used only to read basic public information about your own channel (channel name, channel ID, avatar and public counts) so you can confirm which channel is connected; and youtube.upload, used to upload videos you approve to your own YouTube channel. We request no other YouTube permission — we do not read comments, subscriptions, playlists, captions or analytics reports, and we do not edit, schedule or delete videos.

Deleting a connection on our side does not delete videos, channel data, or account data stored by YouTube or Google. Content already on your own YouTube channel remains under your control and can be removed from YouTube directly.

Aflame AI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Users may revoke Aflame AI's access to their TikTok account through TikTok's account settings or through Aflame AI where a disconnect option is available.

After a TikTok connection is revoked or removed, Aflame AI will stop using the corresponding TikTok authorization.

OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, connection credentials, and data stored solely to maintain that TikTok connection will be removed, invalidated, or no longer used in accordance with applicable security and retention practices.

The TikTok permissions we request are limited to user.info.basic, video.publish, and video.upload, and are used only to identify the connected account and to upload or publish content that you explicitly select, configure, and approve.

Revoking Aflame AI's authorization does not automatically delete videos, drafts, account data, or other content stored directly by TikTok. Users remain responsible for managing or deleting content stored on TikTok through TikTok's own tools.
